When you want to raft the river but still have time to explore the other scenery in Wasco County, this is the trip for you. This Adventure is approximately 3.5 hours of guided rafting through class II thru class IV rapids. You will see over 12 miles of river and enjoy the major rapids such as Wapinitia, Devils Hole, Boxcar, Surf City, Oak Springs, White River, Lower and Upper Elevator rapids.

  • Cost: $90/person Mon-Fri, $100/person Sat-Sun, minimum 4 (All of our guided trips are private)
  • Food: A fully catered float up lunch is provided where you have your choice of a hamburger, chicken burger, or veggie burger with an assortment of fresh fruits, salads, and dessert.

Is this trip for you?

This is a great adventure for everyone, our guides love to show you all the secret spots locals enjoy on the river this is one of the most popular whitewater trips in the Pacific Northwest. You will still get to see the 12 plus miles of river and enjoy approximately 5 hours of class II thru class IV rapids. The major rapids you will encounter are Wapinitia, Devils Hole, Boxcar, Surf City, Oak Springs, White River, Lower and Upper Elevator rapids.

Bonus!

This trip will be custom made for your group. This means your guide will take you to as many of the swimming and jumping spots along the river as you would like including the natural slides up White River, Jumping Rock, Pirates Cove, and Upper Elevators*.

If you chose to buy trip pictures, you can pick from several different shots of you going through rapids when you get back from your adventure.

*We put them out, and you can walk a few hundred yards up river and jump in—floating down some really fun waves.

The Ultimate Conquest

What You Need to Know

  • When: now only offered April 1st-July 15th
  • Check-In: 7am
  • Length: 8-10 Hours
  • Rapids: Class II-IV
  • Cost: $175/person Mon-Sun, 4 minimum
  • Food: Bring a Bag Lunch. Additional snacks and drinks will be provided.

Is this trip for you?

This is the trip for you when the 5 hour day float just isn’t enough and you want to experience something no other outfitter has to offer. This trip is about 8 to 10 hours of constant river action! You will get to take in almost 35 miles of river starting at Trout Creek and floating all the way down to Sandy Beach. This is the only one day guided trip where you get to navigate both class IV rapids on the lower river White Horse and Oak Springs. You will enjoy every rapid the river has to offer in those 35 miles such as Buck Skin Mary, Four Chutes, Whiskey Dick, Wapinitia, Devils Hole, Boxcar, Surf City, White River, Lower and Upper Elevators.

Bonus!

We stop at jumper’s lagoon where, if you’re adventurous enough, you can jump off rocks over 30 feet in the air and a couple secret spots our guides will show you as well.

Look around on your adventure too—our guides will show you areas where Big Horn Sheep, Deer, Elk, Bald Eagles and other wildlife like to hang out.

Overnight Guide Trips

What You Need to Know

  • Options: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 day overnight trips available
  • Rapids: Class II-IV
  • Cost: 2-day: $410/adults; $395/children (under 12).
    3-day: $535/adults; $510/children (under 12). Minimum 5 people. Maximum 12 people as per BLM regulations. *Price is for any day of the week
  • Food: All meals provided. Chef’s menu to choose from with farm-to-table style options.

Is this trip for you?

You can take your time and enjoy the river for fishing, hiking, swimming or just relaxing. Our goal is for you to have a customized trip that meets your expectations of an adventure. You can float any stretch of the upper river and lower river. Some of our guests have floated the whole river from Warm Springs to the mouth of the Deschutes but we must take you out at Sandy Beach where we will transport you and refresh your supplies then we launch at Buck Hollow so you can float all the way to the mouth. Bring your sleeping bag, pillow, fishing pole, camera, binoculars and be ready to have an adventure.

Bonus!

You will see wildlife, some of the most beautiful rock canyons, geological formations and scenic river the northwest has to offer. This is a great family trip, team bonding, or an explorers journey to see the river as it has been for thousands of years. You will leave this trip with memories that will last a lifetime. Of course, you can take any gear you would like and many people want their own tents, bedrolls etc. With a phone call we can customize your trip to fit any specific needs.

Shuttle of your vehicle to/from shop or drop-off and pick-up spots is available upon request (additional fees apply).

While we specialize in private guided trips (minimum of 4 people), we also make sure every person gets the opportunity to enjoy the river. If you are short on a full boat, we can place you on a guided trip regardless!

Farm-to-Table Lunches are offered on many, but not all, of our trips. Costs vary based on the adventure you choose. Please see details below.

Guided Large Group Discounts

If you are active or retired military, Cub/Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts a 10% discount will be applied to your trip with proof of service/membership.

We also offer discounts to church groups, corporate events, specialty camps, sports teams, reunions, wedding party and other organized events. The minimum size is 20 people to be considered for a discount which must be negotiated ahead of time and we can accommodate over 200 in one group! Please contact us for more details.
